The Digital Security Agency and Bangladesh Computer Incident Response Team – BGD e-GOV CIRT have been working to integrate the digital security policy and strengthen the cybersecurity of banking and other financial organizations.
On Saturday, a seminar on “Cyber Threat Perception” was organized by the Digital Security Agency. The seminar was held through ‘Boithok’, the only online meeting platform in Bangladesh developed by BGD e-GOV CIRT.
The seminar was attended by members of the Digital Security Agency, BGD e-GOV CIRT, National Data Center and Bangladesh National Digital Architecture Team. Director General (Additional Responsibilities) of Digital Security Agency Md. Khairul Amin was present as the chief guest in the seminar.
Md. Abdus Sattar Sarkar, Director (Administration and Finance) of Digital Security Agency presided over the function and Tareq M Barkatullah, Director (Operations) of Digital Security Agency and Project Director of BGD e-GOV CIRT coordinated the seminar.
Debashish Paul, Information Security Specialist, BGD e-GOV CIRT, gave a presentation on Ransomware Prevention and Response at the seminar.
IT Editor Md. Moinul Hossain discussed IT Audit, Risk Analyst Tamim Ahmed shared his ideas about the cyber risk assessment process and Rubaiyat Bin Modasser highlighted the awareness aspects of communication.
